Boat House Moving

Monday mid-day with the slack currents, and with probably too much help, Jim and Suzy’s boat house was moved to new buoys put down for that purpose.  They have been slowly building a floating cabin and now with roof, floor and some walls it was ready for being separated from the work boat.  Buzz and Maureen from Encore and Bill and I helped with the move.

Bill and Suzy very easily moved the boat house to the first buoy of the two that it was to be tied to.   The wind was a help here as well!!!

The work boat that the house had lived tied to over the last year of construction moves further and further away as the house is pulled to its new moorings.

Pulling the house around to the second buoy took more effort and Jim and Doreen did the pulling there, with Bill pushing with the dinghy for much extra power.
