This is a photo from the bus of the sand dunes with green, watered river valleys.

The water-wheel that turned a grinding stone in the room directly above. Used in early Colonial times for grinding wheat, corn and rice.

Pre-Colombian mummy in the excellent museum that we discovered by surprise in the Franciscan Monastery La Recoleta.
