Sportsman Show

Today we headed into Portland with the kids.  Originally it was going to be just Doug and I.  But dad’s an ol’ softy!  He felt bad for the kids so invited them along.  They had a good time so it was worth it!  First we met up with some of my old nursing school gang.  We had a nice lunch at an old favorite restaurant and visited.  We had plans to hit the sportsman show afterwards so unfortunately I wasn’t able to visit as long as I would have liked.  We’ll definitely have to get together again when I can go alone and really hang out!

Then we headed over to the sportsman show.

Found some killer deals and some must haves.  Our biggest hit was the kids waders!  We have looked everywhere for them!  It was an awesome find.  Nicolas was so excited.  Can’t wait to get out fishing with dad.

The kids had a good time catching fish in the smelly pond they set up.

Then we headed out to dinner and headed home.  Oh ya, and I left my phone at the restaurant.  Smooth move mom!
