Can you believe it’s Friday?!?!?!

The beginning of the week was a  late start.  The kids had an extended weekend.  Jacob and Alexa got to go see their mom for the weekend and didn’t come home till Tuesday.  Tuesday night was tough to get all the kids back on schedule with reading and an early bedtime.  Sometimes I hate being a parent!  It’s just not fun.  I know what’s best for them but would love to have more time to play.  The girls need their sleep though!  And that one I pay for in the morning so… it’s off to bed.  We finished Mr. Popper’s Penguins last week so this week I started Little House in the Big woods.   Nicolas loves it as it’s all about guns, killing wild game, skinning and cooking the wild game, building a house, big wild open woods!  So much adventure for such a little guy!!!

So the kids went off to school Wed morning.  Jacob was just pumped to get back and see his friends.  Thursday morning he even took off for the bus stop before the Lexi and I were ready to head out the door.  Stood out there in the freezing cold for 10 minutes waiting but he was not late!  Emmers woke up sick Thur and continued to puke the entire day away.  Friday she stayed home as well.  Friday evening we enjoyed a fun family evening at the pool.  Jacob had a friend sleep over in the cabin.  He was so excited. 

And that was our week in the Brill Home!
