Off to Pendleton

With the Tsunami warning and the kids out of school, Doug left for Pendleton early. He loaded the car with Lex, Nic, Jacob, and Jacob’s bestest buddy Zai. They stopped at our old stomping ground along the way.

This is the beach of the Deschutes river. This is where Doug and I married and where we spent many a nice hot summer day. Lexi used to play in the rocky, muddy, sand that she called icky gooey geyser….. f;un times!

They continued on the LOOOOONG car ride to Pendleton.

Kids in the back seat look a little guilty!

Then they finally got to Pendleton!!!! YEA!!! Doug wanted to stop and see his buddy Mark’s new baby. And Nic really wanted to see the baby’s big brother Owen.

Then on to Grandma and Grandpa’s Mountain House! And of course an evening of good food and HOT TUB!
