Anyone that knows me knows that I love change. Sorta thrive on it. I routinely move the furniture in our house. When I first married Doug it drove him nuts. He is not one for change. Actually resists it. At some point he must have just decided it was me and he loved me so he would just ignore it. He never really says anything when things are moved around. Just very calmly asks where I moved the item it is he needs.
So about a week ago I was dying to move the furniture in our room. Too much work so I ended up trimming some bangs instead. Here I am a week later, with bangs now, and it wasn’t enough.
Yesterday we cut Nic’s hair. Not for my desire for change but I would think that it woulda’ helped. Nope! I think it made me want to deep clean more stuff.
This morning after my work out I decided it was time to move the furniture in our room. And this always means a good thorough cleaning. This inspired me to move the living room around and take the big leather couch out of the den and put it back in the living room with the rest of it’s set. So now I have an empty den… hmmm. Maybe the futon from the cabin, maybe some chairs? We will see. For now, I’m finished moving and cleaning. Kids will be home in about an hour and I want to sit, relax, and read for a little while.
