It’s been a while since I updated.  We have been busy working, kids have been busy with activities.  Nothing overwhelmingly exciting.  Today Lex and her dad dug holes and concreted in posts for our future pig pen.  Maybe Thursday we will haul some gravel and hang the fencing. 

Dad and I made it out of town for a night alone on Friday.  It was wonderful and much needed.  We went to the sportsman show in Portland, did some shopping, and just relaxed.  The boys stayed at a friends house.  The girls stayed home.

Last week our town tragically lost two wonderful people.  A mom and daughter went home to heaven after a terrible car accident.  I never had the opportunity to meet either one of them.  Alexa was good friends with the daughter though.  It has been a very sad week in many homes throughout the town.  Alexa and her frinds are working their way through understanding and grieving.  Your prayers are welcome for Alexa, all of the other children struggling to understand, the family, and especially father and son that were left behind.
