My Cousin sent me this card in the mail.  It brought the biggest smile to my face and tears to my eyes.  This little angel was born over the summer to my cousin and her husband.  She fits her name perfectly.  She is a little Grace from God.  She had a rough start to her life and had people all over praying for her.  There were prayers here in Tillamook and prayers from Montana, prayers from Ocean Park Washington, and prayers from The Dalles.  My bet is there were people all over thinking of this little girl and reconnecting with their loved ones.  Through the unfortunately difficult start to her life I have been reconnected with some of my family.  Though it is just through computer via email and blogs I have been able to sort of reconnect with my cousin.  This card in the mail meant so much.  I know how busy my cousin must be with her new little bundle of joy.  She asked that I share it with my parents and sister so the best way to do that is on my blog!

I still remember 13 years ago when I had my first baby.  I hadn’t slept in nights and was completely exhausted.  Leanne and a friend came by and rocked her in the backyard while I slept.  It was the first stretch of sleep I got.  I’m not sure how long they stayed but I know it was well past midnight.
