Civil War

Thankfully last night I got to stay on call until about 3:30 this am.  That was enough sleep to help me at least feel human and not feel panicked!  Jacob and Lexi each had a friend stay the night last night.  This morning we dropped them off, then headed out to met Mindy at the usual place and dropped off Lexi.  The Clarks arrived and we headed on to Forest Grove for our tree.  It ended up being only about 5 minutes from the gas station.

We quickly headed home to drop off trees and turn on the  TV for the Civil War.  The Clarks are Duck fans, we are Beaver Fans.  It was fun to watch the guys enjoy the game together.  Doug was glad to see the Beavers put on such a good game, even if they did lose.  The kids did have fun though.  They didn’t watch much of the game.  Instead they played in the cabin, played tag in the front yard, came inside to eat, etc.  The neighbor kids even showed up to play for a while.  There was a about 10 kids in the front yard at one point…. and that is just from three families!

We are heading to bed early.  Doug is on call again tomorrow for an extra shift and I work tomorrow night.  At some point tomorrow we will meet Mindy and pick up Lexi.  Then the week will start again!
