Harvest Party

Last night was the famous first Harvest Party!  We all decided we may make this a first of many.  Emily had her best friend over and the two had a really good time setting up.  Alexa and her mom helped get music together.  I was busy trying to get food together.  Dad was helping out in the garage getting sheets hung to hide the stuff stored out there!  It was a close call but it all got done in time.

I was crazy nervous that it wasn’t going to work out.  I really didn’t want any of my kids embarassed by a lame party.  My bestest friend Heather helped a ton.  Mindy was also a HUGE help.  Her and John brought their RV down for the night to be involved.  Mindy had all the kids dancing at one point!

The biggest hit was the apple bobbing which we saved for the end.  I think a close second was the whip cream game.  The kids had to use only their mouths to find a candy corn hidden in the pan.
