What a Month!

Where to begin.  It has been a crazy busy month.  We have had 3 birthdays, a trip to Great Wolf Lodge, turkey butchering, work around the house, and grandparents visiting.  I’ve been putting off updating the blog because I was getting further and further behind.  At this point it’s just easiest to say it has been busy, and then start over. 

In the last few weeks we have taken down the old swing set, collected and cut firewood several times, gutted the shed and put in new shelves, re-roofed the shed, put shelves in the garage, pruned the trees, preened the yard for the year, and helped with homework, adjusted to new work schedules, ran kids around to evening activities, and had fun!  All I can say is, thank goodness for grandparents and a wonderful husband.

We are planning for an upcoming hunting trip to Eastern Oregon.  It should be about a week!  We are all really looking to a week of roughing it, relaxation, and campfires!!! When we return life will get crazier.  Emily starts basketball, Jacob and Nicolas will be starting wrestling, and grandma and grandpa will be back on their boat.  We will see how well I keep up the blog then.
