Jacob and Lexi came home from their mom’s today. We had promised the kids they could carve pumpkins when they came home. So… that is exactly what they all did.
Lexi bought her pumpkin with her own money at her mom’s house last week and has had it sitting on the porch for a week now waiting to be carved. I picked up the others some pumpkins in town (the local safeway farm!).
For some odd reason, Nicolas did NOT want a big pumpkin. He said he didn’t like the goo inside. He picked out four little pumpkins that he was planning on painting. Once he carved into the first one though, he just kept on carving! He had so much fun with those little pumpkins.
It was a beautiful afternoon and the kids really had fun. I was told that I wasn’t allowed to help at one point. My job was apparently the sorter, dad’s was the helper. So, I sorted seeds!
