Mellow Day

Today the kids and I enjoyed a pretty mellow morning.  Everyone climbed on my bed in the morning to watch TV until about 11.  By that time I said it was time to get up and act human.  I took off for my run while the other two got showered, dressed, and had breakfast.  Actually Nic was already showered and dressed!  Good job buddy!!!

After my work-out the kids and I went back to the YMCA to swim.  Then we fought the crowds at the cheese factory for some ice cream.  It was ridiculous how many people were there on a Wednesday! 

When we got home our package from LL Bean arrived.  I have been a little obsessed with that store and kinda gone overboard picking up things for the kids for school from their.  One thing I fell in love with was their water bottles.  We are a huge water bottle family.  Kids always have theirs with them when we travel.  I bought one for each member of the family with their names carved on them.  If you look real close you might be able to see the names.  Colors are also perfect!  Mine was in the fridge so it’s got condensation all over it!  SOOOOO FUN!

One thing is for sure… We Miss Jacob and Alexa!  They have been gone pretty much all summer and we are ready for them to come home.  We were ready months ago but I know they really need this time with their mom.  So… trying to keep the happy face, have fun, and enjoy the beautiful summer days.  Inside I’m secretly counting down the days till they come home again.  (Today it is 6).

They will be here for the weekend then back to mom’s for the last week before school starts.
