Hunting Tent

The hunting tent arrived today.  It’s one of those large, 12 x 18 I believe, wall tents.  We found an awesome special for the month of July at Davis Tents.  Had to get it.  For the price we were able to pick up the cook stove as well.  You can imagine the joy in Nicolas’s face when the big boxes arrived.  And the shear disappointment that dad did not want to open the boxes and deal with it just then.  Well tonight after filling our bellies with shish kabobs he decided he would work on it.  Nicolas had a grand time helping figure out how to put it all together.  It is a sweet little wood stove with a hot water tank (spigot and all) on one side and a warming plate on the other.  The top is perfectly flat so we can actually cook on it.  I’m pretty excited to head into the woods and try it out!  Now…. Where to store it till then.  my living room just isn’t working for me!
