Fair

We went to the fair this afternoon after Doug got the second window in.  It was over 94 degrees at the house.  Maybe a little less at the fair.  Ya, for Tillamook….. RIDICULOUS!  Nicolas was really much interested in flopping down, bent in half, with hands on the ground to proclaim just how hot it was and complain.  The rest of us just really wanted the shade.  It was fun though.  Nicolas enjoyed the tractors.  We checked out all the 4H animals in the barns…. some of which looked as if they may really die from heat stroke.  Emily took off for the rides with her friends.  We ate the food, did the rides, saw the animals, and went home.  Later it was decided that the cool icy river would have been much more fun!
