Chores

The kids and I worked on some chores again.  The boys and I drove the truck to the rock company and got another load for the back yard.  They didn’t give me much so it wasn’t too hard to unload.  Bummer was it didn’t finish the section I hoped it would.  Oh well.  We burned all the garbage in the whipping wind and caught the dead grass on fire.  That was exciting for a few minutes.  Later we ran into town to run errands.  BORRING.  When we got home Emily got out her desk and finished sanding it.  Then her, Lexi, and I painted the primer on it.  This evening once they were all bathed and the wind died down I painted the first coat of color on it.  Hopefully we can put the last coat of paint on it tomorrow and she can move it into her room this weekend!  One more project off the list.  I also got the futon stained and the last board stained to the new shelving unit Doug is going to build this weekend for the den.  The first one was so nice I begged for one more.  It didn’t hold everything I thought it would.  I’m in bed now, updating my blog, and ready for bed.

Hey Hey you guys have been busy! Thanks for the complete update! I know that when we get there, we both can just “chill” and munch on Taco Bull Burgers and pretend to be old, worthless retired people, hee hee. *NOT*
