After waking up and having a nice big breakfast together everyone scattered different ways. Grandma and Grandpa headed off to Montana to pack up Aunt Ginger’s house. We all headed off to the beach to meet up with the Phan’s. The kids had fun playing in the sand for a few hours before returning home and having a quiet family evening.
We lit up the campfire out back and sat there with the kids for several hours while they roasted marshmallows, ran around, played in the pool, ran around, roasted marshmallows, etc.!
Jacob decided to start running circles around the fire pit. We kept challenging him to run more and more. Pretty soon he had ran 375 times around it! Holly Cow! We told the girls if they couldn’t beat it they were getting dunked in the pool! So about after about 30 times around they both leaped in for fear they would be tossed in!
By 10 pm the kids all said they were heading to bed so we followed suit. What an awesome day!
