This morning I got put on call from work so Doug decided to stay home from his planned ocean fishing trip. We ended up working on the second shelving unit in the Den. About halfway into the shelving unit though the phone rang and I was needed at work. Bummers! Luckily I was only needed at work for about 4 hours. By the time I got off Doug had brought the children back to the rocky beach on the Wilson River. They had been begging like crazy to go. I met them there and we watched the kids play for about two hours. Knowing there was so much to do at home that was about all we could handle. We went home, got the shelving unit up on the wall that Doug had finished, and cleaned up the room. Doug also trimmed out the window in cedar. Later we had some barbecued Tuna…. yummm! After Dinner we ran new fencing on the new posts Doug cemented in. All the kids came down to help. One held the hammer, one held the nails, one held the bale of wire, I pulled and stretched the wire, and dad pounded the nails. Before bed the kids roasted marshmallows and made smores in the campfire out back.
No Rici today. Aunt Ginger was off for the day due to the fourth of July.
