After church we came home to do some chores.  Chores ended up turning into a nice family day.  Doug did a nice barbecue with chicken and zucchini.

Emily sat on the shed and read for a while.  I’m not sure what Lexi is doing…. watching maybe.

And I had fun filling the new shelves and cleaning up all the stacks and boxes of books.

Then we let off the volcano. The kids have been dying to get it done for quite some time.

Not near as exciting as I was hoping it would be.  Oh, well!
