I worked today so I missed out on the busy yard day. I also missed out on the really nice weather. Doug got up early with me and ran before I had even left the house. He said he was done lifting weights by 7am! That is a rockin good start to the day.
He was out digging up space for the garden boxes by 8am. The girls had finished up their school yesterday and Jacob only had a tiny bit to finish. Nic, well….. he’s another story! He did get some math done though.
He got three of the garden boxes in, only one more to go. The ground was so insanely unlevel it took a ton of digging. Exactly why I stopped yesterday.
Later he made a trip into town for some river rock. He stopped by the feed store looking for turkeys. No turkeys but there were some adorable ducks.
Sucker!!!
Each girl got one.
Emily named her duck Chance, Alexa named her duck Curious.
While the two girls catered to their new baby’s, Doug got back to work. He and the boys started hauling rock.
Then all the kids got busy hauling grass clippings while Doug mowed the lawn.
He had a busy day!!!
