I worked today so it was Doug’s day.  Being down to just two kids he took the opportunity to go bear hunting in the morning.  No bear…. hmmm.  Emily helped Nicolas with some school after doing her own.  Didn’t work so well once he started scribbling so that was put away.    Emily is very into coloring farm animals ever since church on Sunday.  She must have colored a good portion of the day because she had quite a stack to show me when I got home.  Fine by me, much better than watching TV when babysitting! 

Doug took the kids for a hike in the afternoon.

When I came home Nicolas was in an amazing calm mood just playing with his car builder toys on the floor.  It was like a spell was cast over the house!  I sure hope tomorrow is just as mellow.

Everyone enjoyed the smoked turkey for dinner.  It was delicious!!!
