Today Jacob and Alexa came home after church. Mindy and I met around noon. It was a sunny beautiful day. The kids and I stopped on the way home to get some up to date photo’s of them. They really turned out nice!
When we got back home the kids begged and begged for a sprinkler. Finally we decided it was okay. The kids had a blast running through the sprinkler.
Doug prepared a really yummy bar-b-que with zucchini, red potatoes, oysters, and chicken. It was delicious.
Nicolas checked the mole trap and….
Waaaam, Got it!
Dad skinned it (and managed to leave all the feet on as requested by Nicolas). It was quite the family affair watching dad skin the animal!
When it was time to feed the cows Jacob thought it would be a blast to ride the cows. We sorta use their bottles to get them back into their pen. So, with Emily leading Taco Bell into the stall by a bottle, Jacob rode bareback.
As you can see Emily is laughing her butt off!!!!
Poor Nicolas was so sad that he didn’t get to ride a cow down to the stall. He was crying. As you can see above Alexa was feeding Taco Time and dad had tried to put him on his back. Not sure what happened there. Probably scared. I put him on Taco Time’s back once in the stall for a picture.
Later Alexa and Emily watched a TV show they were waiting for and then we all watched a movie.
