Today was my mom’s birthday. I had to work so I gave her a quick phone call on my way to work. She laughed at me because for the first time ever I remembered this day! She knew it wasn’t me. It was my computer that reminded me!!! Technology is a great thing!
Doug went for a hike in the woods (bear hunting) this morning. It wasn’t a very long one because the kids were home alone. After lunch he went back to the woods with Nicolas. Nic had a great time climbing playing in the bushes
He found a big “volcano” that he was scared to climb into. He did have a great time climbing all over it though.
Dad wrote his name in the dirt and he proudly sat by it for a picture.
And I guess there was some bear scouting as well.

I just have to add…. the next day after this hike with Nic, dad went back up there with a friend. Someone had added “is gay” after nic’s name. HOW RUDE!
