The Beach

Emily, Nic, and I went to the beach again today.  Second time this week!  We stopped by their last Wednesday on the way home from Lincoln City.  It was beautiful!  It was warm out, no wind, and very peaceful.  There were a few others on the beach then but not many.  So this morning when we woke up and Nicolas realized it wasn’t raining the first thing he asked is “can we go back to the beach today?” We had such a good time on Wednesday I couldn’t refuse.  It wasn’t as nice out; windy and cold, but we still had fun.  And being a Saturday it was CROWDED!!!  It always amazes me how many people swarm to the Pacific Coast beaches even in the winter.  It’s cold out and the water is barely above freezing yet if it’s a weekend you can ALWAYS find people in the water.  This day it was Nicolas!  He had a blast!  We climbed the tall sand hill all the way to the top.

Then Nicolas through some sand and my camera quit working…. hmmm.  We really need to get a good waterproof, sport proof camera.  Apparently sandproof too!
