Nicolas has this favorite saying that little things are “just an inch”. If someone isn’t very nice, “they are not nice an inch.” If he gets hurt not too bad…. then “it’s okay mom it didn’t hurt even an inch.” Sometimes he likes to tell us that things aren’t an inch of fun, especialy school! Then of course there is the “I didn’t get to do it an inch!!!” That’s if he feels he didn’t get a turn at something.
