Cow Number TWO!!!

Last night our neighbor told us that another boy cow was born at the farm.  We decided we would get him this morning.  Doug was at work yesterday and it’s already dark by 7pm when he gets off.  So…. the alarm clock went off at 5:30 so we would be to the farm by 6:30.  Wayyyyy to early for our one and only day each week to sleep in!!!  Off to the farm we went where we found two cows!  We picked the smaller that was actually born last night.   The other will be sold today to the market truck.  He is small and mostly black.  He looks a lot like Nacho did.  Boy does he look like tiny tim next to Taco Bell (that calf is HUGE).  We brought him home, got him into the pen with Taco Bell.  We fed Taco Bell while the new calf just stood there scared to death.  Once finished, Taco Bell wandered over to him and sucked on him, butting his head at his belly to get milk!!!  No milk there buddy!  We were worried about the new little guy so Taco Bell got himself roped so the little guy could get away.
