A load of wood

We woke up this morning a little tired and feeling kinda rough around the edges.  The wind was apparently blowing and I did a little happy dance inside!  Not that I didn’t want to go ice fishing… but I was pretty tired and I’m thinking the kids were too!  We spent the morning relaxing.  Doug watched stock tickers on the TV with his dad.  I read my book.  Mid morning we decided we better get out and start loading wood if we were going to head back home with any.

So here’s the tree… turns out it’s a little big to haul the chunks to the truck.  So Doug and his dad decide to move our truck a little closer.  Of course that had him driving over the piled snow on the side of the road. 02-13-09-14

 So out comes the snow plow…

 

Now wait a minute… it looks as if the snow is just getting piled higher?!?!  I’m thinking were getting blocked in on the hill!

Nic is learning all about how to run a chain saw…. I’m not sure if that is such a good idea!!!
